Some people like stuff that’s shiny, and some people like stuff that’s sparkly. Well, this post is for all you kids that like stuff that glows. Do you dig bioluminescence too? Well, keep reading.

If you’ve never seen these before, here are Japanese glow in the dark mushrooms called shii no tomobishi-dake mushrooms. They actually grow from fallen chinquapin trees and glow this creepy green. Learn something new every day, right?

But that’s not our special surprise. In all of mankind’s infinite wisdom, some people in South Korea decided to fuck with a cat’s genes and create - drum roll please - a glowing cat! That’s right, the cat that they screwed with glowed a fluorescent red when put under UV light (the green cat is a normal one).
