Snow’d
Snowed in again today, for what feels like the 10th time this winter. The forecast is for 12-18 inches today, with 35 mph winds, and drifts up to 5 feet. I went online to check the weather cams for the city . . . want to see?

Pretty, isn’t it? I did a little research, just because this winter has been ridiculous so far, and here’s what I found out:
- December averages 11 inches of snow, and we got 30.
- January averages like 14 inches, but I know we got more than that.
- And the 18 inches we’re getting just today already beats the February average.
- Not to mention that whenever it’s not snowing, it’s like -5 degrees . . . which it’ll be this weekend again.
Flipped on the news for the weather report, and it was one of those where they have the weather guy actually out there in the elements to show you how bad it is. At least, I think he was there. I couldn’t really see him through the blizzard. Here’s how it went:
Anchor: How’s the weather looking out there, Bill?
Bill the Weatherman: %#^@$!
Anchor: Couldn’t quite hear you buddy; must be the wind. What was that?
Bill: I said it’s cold!
Anchor: Haha, looks like it.
Bill: Suck it, Greg.
Anchor: Why don’t you just give us the weather, Bill.
Bill: What’s it look like, idiot?
Anchor: Okay, how about you just read the forecast off your little card there, and we’ll wrap this segment up.
Bill: 8 more inches of accumulation in the next hour, followed by a 40-degree temperature drop tonight.
Anchor: Wow.
Bill: And thunder snow.
Anchor: Thunder snow?
Bill: And locusts.
Anchor: What?
Bill: And pestilence.
Anchor: Stop it.
Bill: And woe.
Anchor: You’re fired.
Bill: Thank you.

Hahaha!!! While I was snowed in I watched about 5 hours of ridiculous coverage just like this (that was all that was on).
The most ridiculous thing was this idiot anchorwoman who actually asked “I know there’s usually a lot of joggers by the lake… have you seen anyone jogging or walking today”
I really wish that on-site reporter would’ve called her out on it. Could that question have been any dumber? I don’t believe it’s even possible to jog in 20 inches of thundersnow.
