Alderman Jim Witkowiak is in some hot water over a campaign billboard displayed on the city’s south side.

The advertisement pictures Witkowiak with Father Eleazar Perez, a popular hispanic preist, and in Spanish reads: Vote for our friend Alderman Witkowiak. However Perez never gave such endorsement or consented to the ad.

Witkowiak has appologized and pulled the ad but I can’t help but be suspicious about the legitimacy of his other endorsements. Something just doesn’t seem right about a couple of these.
